Retail Therapy: NASTYGAL.COM

As a fashion addict, I am constantly searching for new places to get the trendiest clothes, including online. I've come up with a huge list (that is still growing!) of online clothing shops that I've found over the past few years that I love and want to share with you guys.

In the summer of my sophomore year of high school, I was over at a friend's house. While we decided what to do with our day, she showed me a new online store she had found- Nastygal.com. It was my first introduction to two things- one, online shopping that wasn't either Forever 21 or Urban Outfitters, and two, trendy street wear. I was in awe. Trendy clothes I couldn't find at my local mall, stuff I had only seen my favorite fashion bloggers wear- it was heaven for me. Being 15 at the time, I couldn't afford much on the site, but as time went on, Nastygal grew into something bigger and better and it currently holds the title of my favorite online shop.

Nasty Gal started as an ebay store opened by Sophia Amoruso in 2006. Living in San Francisco, she'd hit up thrift stores, finding vintage gems that she'd sell on her site. By 2007 she had a following of over 60,000 on Myspace and in 2008 she made her own site, Nastygal.com. Sophia and her team moved to Los Angeles, California in 2010, where they still reside today.

Sophia Amoruso wrote a book #GIRLBOSS that is coming out May 6 about how she went from a self-proclaimed "dumpster diving and shoplifting anarchist" to the CEO of Nasty Gal, a $100 million dollar business.

A Nasty Gal is trendy, outgoing, and not afraid of what others think. She's self-confident and lives how she wants to.

My first order two years ago at Nasty Gal consisted of two pairs of high waisted denim shorts and a coral skater dress. All of them are in perfect condition and I still wear them today.
Not only are their clothes amazing, their shoe collection is out of this world. Daring and fun platforms, classy and simple heels, and some of the cutest boots I have ever seen. They carry a variety of cool shoes that deserve a spot in every trendy girl's closet.

If you haven't checked out Nastygal.com already, I suggest you do so. Sorry in advance to your wallet!
