Trend of the Month: Boyfriend Jeans

Okay, I know this isn't a new trend, much less a "trend of the month" for April of 2014, but I haven't had the chance to style them myself and I'm having the HARDEST time finding a pair that look halfway decent on me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one struggling.

Oh, boyfriend jeans. High rise or low, these jeans have a general fit of comfortable and tight at the hips, oversized through the legs without being too baggy, and cuffed or rolled up at the bottom. They look comfy as hell and are a fashionable way to change the way you wear denim. I love them because of all the ways they can be worn, either casual with a t-shirt and sneakers or dressed up with a blazer and heels.

Like I said, same type of jeans that complete two totally different looks. My only issue is that I can't seem to find a pair that hit me at the right point on my waist, but that's not really the focal point of these looks anyway, so maybe I'll grab a pair in the near future. I'd love to get some because I have the perfect outfit in mind...

gimme gimme

This outfit, to be exact. MOTO Rip and Repair Jeans from Topshop paired with a white crop t-shirt, white platform sandals (Jeffrey Campbell), patterned jacket (Joyrich, preferably), a little black faux-leather backpack and to top it off, a gold chain. Sigh, my heart aches for you.
