SCHOOL'S OUT

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER
I graduated last year tho so...
whatever

Thank you Lifeless Threads for this kick ass tee! I wanted to fit with the brand's punky feel so I matched it with my favorite chunky boots and flannel shorts, but I cropped the shirt to match my style. What I like most about Lifeless Threads is their brand personality- they're not just another t-shirt company who slaps a graphic on a shirt and calls it a day. It's refreshing, compared to a lot of other t-shirt companies who just use regurgitated internet slang or boring logos and graphics. I'll link below to this top and a couple others I like from them as well!
So, I've been doing a lot of thinking and... research, I guess you could call it, on how to make my blog more interactive and fun. I don't hear much from my followers, and I'd love input on what you'd like to see. I was thinking about writing weekly posts about my favorite trends, designers and brands, or maybe some fashion tips I can share! Would you be interested in that? Sometimes this feels more like a portfolio than a blog, and I'd like to start sharing what I know about fashion with whoever wants to hear it, so let me know how you all feel about that in the comments below or on my Instagram! Let me know what you'd like to hear or see from me!

TOBI X LILBAMBI

If you've been keeping up with street style, the new craze seems to be bodysuits, and rightfully so. They're easy to style, comfortable, and really clean up a look- they are flattering on every body type. Tobi.com sent me this white bodysuit and I can't get enough of it. The fabric is thick enough so you can't see through, which was a concern of mine since you can't really wear a bra with this low of a neckline. This bodysuit was the perfect addition to my summer wardrobe. PS How cute is my Rio Warner backpack?? I love it a lot.

A little over a month ago I got mermaid hair done by the super sweet Joelle, who's a stylist at Salon Revelation in OC. I've never done something like that before with my hair (other than a phase where I was obsessed with putting blue peek-a-boos in my hair when I was 16... wasn't as bad as it sounds), and I loved it. Now that they're nearly gone, there are a million other things I want to try. Obviously I love pink, but I feel like that'd be overkill for me and my wardrobe (personally). I'm kind of feeling blue? Or some sort of mix again? Honestly I just wish I had the money to buy infinite wigs so I didn't have to damage my real hair as much. Also the space. I have no space in my apartment to store wigs except the walls of my room, which would probably be kind of creepy and a bit of an eyesore. What color should I do next??

NO MORE PARTIES IN LA

please baby...

Thanks to Tees and Tank You for this awesome crewneck! It's me in a nutshell. Not to mention that No More Parties in LA is my favorite song off of Kanye's new album, so this was an obvious choice for me. I'm such a homebody, rarely will you find me out at a party here in Los Angeles. More often than not, I'm at home in a bubble bath or playing video games, or walking around Melrose window shopping and people watching.
I didn't want to pair this crewneck with some basic jeans or shorts, so I figured a fun print dress gave me great layering options and added some color to an otherwise monochrome look. LA is at this weird point where our weather can't make up it's mind, so I always bring long sleeves for when the sun goes down, or if clouds start to roll in. Even though I'm from Chicago where I'm used to blizzards and long winters, I'm still a huge baby when it comes to the cold, so I like to be prepared.
Tees and Tank You has tons of hilarious and cute tees, tanks, sweaters, and pins! I'm a huge fan of covering stuff in pins lately, so I'm going to link to some of my favorite from their store below!

I've added TONS of super cute stuff to my Depop store, including things I've worn in past posts! Check it out here!

My head says gym,
heart says loaded cheese fries with a side of ranch.

Quick and fun shoot for Jac Vanek with Amanda Walker at California's holy land aka In N' Out. Somehow Amanda made me look cute while stuffing my face with fries.
