When I met up with the photographer, Matt, he knew just where to go to shoot this look. He lead me to this amazing old car that's just collecting dust and flower petals in a driveway in Silverlake. I love the way this shoot turned out, some of these pictures genuinely look like they could have come out of the 70's. 

I was so stoked to put this outfit together. Mostly because I'm in love with these bell bottoms from Pylo, but also because I knew I couldn't just pair this top with anything and throw it on my blog. It went perfectly with these bells to complete the groovy vibe. Still, the outfit felt a little too simple for me, so thanks to Violet Luxe, I threw on charm tattoo choker and crystal necklace to finish the look.

Hope you all have a lovely Valentine's Day! My Valentine is on the other side of the country :( But we'll be celebrating next time we see each other, so I'm not too bummed out. Instead, I'll be eating chocolate and watching my favorite 90's movies. Cruel Intentions is a good V-Day movie, right?

I am in love with the Love, Courtney x Nasty Gal collection. They totally captured the best of Courtney's 90's style. The mini dresses and romantic slip, the mesh tights, and all the lace come together to create a collection of looks that are the perfect ode to girly 90's grunge. I have to be honest, though. I'm a bit disappointed with the way this dress fits. I am all about my silhouette, and I expected the dress to be a bit tighter in the middle considering the way it looked on the model. I still love it and I'll continue to wear it, of course, maybe I just need to fuss with it a little, or put it in the perfect ensemble. 

 I also have to mention this rose-adorned Wildfox sweater. The sleeves are super long, so when you pull them up to the correct length, they billow over so beautifully in a way I was not expecting. My local Wasteland always tends to have Wildfox, so I'm definitely lucky there, otherwise I'm not sure this sweater would be in my wardrobe! The price for some of their clothing really kills me, but if you find some on sale, it's definitely worth the purchase.
