IRIDESCENT

On any given day, you'll find me in some sort of variation of these outfits. Crop top, bralette, high waisted shorts, and platforms is my go-to look. I also tend to stick with black and white, so I had fun changing it up and playing with colors while running around OC. Isn't this holographic bag so amazing? I'm not sure how I lived without it.

Thanks to Paul Mango (@bittersweetmangoproductions on Instagram) for bringing me around Orange County for the first time and for the fun shoot!

VIVA GLAM || 21

These past few months have been too good to my closet. Christmas brought me this awesome velvet bralette from UNIF and my new favorite sweater from Nasty Gal. The UNIF sample sale (and my BFF's knack for finding the best clothes) blessed me with these next level holographic overalls. I also got to wear Miley Cyrus's MAC Viva Glam lipstick and I'm in love. These pictures don't do the vibrant hot pink color justice. As for my outfits, it's starting to get too hot here in California for this sweater, but I love it all the same. I'd wear this look to school, hanging with friends, out shopping- any casual day, really. As for my overalls, I'd throw on a white crop tee underneath to make this look school appropriate, otherwise I'd like to wear this walking around Venice beach.

This past week has been extremely fun. My boyfriend came into town just in time to celebrate my 21st birthday with me, and it was a blast. We spent the weekend in gorgeous Palm Desert, riding around on the golf cart and soaking in the sunshine. He got me an adorable white polaroid camera along with some fun add-ons, like color filters and cute frames. I can't wait to start using it, I've been dying for a polaroid for months! With the birthday $$ I received, I think I'm going to revive my closet, and sell some old stuff I just don't wear anymore. Keep an eye out on my Instagram for more on that.

Turning 21 has caused me to reflect on the past year of my life, and I am so grateful for the amazing experiences I've had, and I'm hopeful and excited for the future. With all that I've accomplished being 20, I can't imagine the new opportunities I'll be presented this year. I'm looking forward to what's in store for me and my career!

NIGHTS IN WHITE LACE

Never in my life did I think I'd find a romper that didn't make me look like an overgrown toddler. The ones I had tried on in the past hit me at a weird spot in my waist or was made out of material that just didn't hang right on my body. Lucky for me, my amazing BFF Lee (velvetcloouds) snagged this lace one for me from Tiger Mist, and my perception of rompers and jumpsuits alike has been changed forever. The material it's made from is comfy and light, while the deep v neck and the long bell sleeves dress up an otherwise simple look. The lace detailing is super beautiful, and the fit of the entire romper has no competition in my book. It sits perfectly on me, I would sleep in the thing if I didn't love it so much. To accessorize, I paired the romper with a wide brim hat, white lace bralette, and my Lita's to keep with the boho vibe. Alone it all felt too plain, so to spice it up I added this leather choker and gorgeous necklace from Unjaded Jewelry, an amazing and creative woman here in LA who sells jewelry at the Melrose Trading Post.
I'm blessed to be in such an inspiring and creative environment. I always strive to surround myself with people who only add positivity to my life. 2015 is the year of no negativity. I've gotten ridden of the toxic people in my life and believe me, it does wonders for the psyche. We're only a couple months into the new year and I've already done so much that I'm feeling super optimistic about the future. I'm excited to see what's in store, I can only imagine what's next!

PERSONAL JESUS || FEVRIE GIVEAWAY

| REACH OUT AND TOUCH FAITH |

After a long winter break in the windy city, it's back to the daily grind in LA. I loved the cold weather, as I think it really brings out the holiday spirit in everyone, but I'm glad to be back to a mid-70's winter forecast. The first couple weeks of school have kept me busy, but I'm getting back into the groove of things and finding time for the blog again.

Before the holidays, I was contacted by Fevrie.com in regards to a collaboration and I'm so happy I finally get to share it with you guys! I'm pretty sure this collared crop top was made for me, as I've seen it in my dreams, and it goes with just about everything else in my closet. Fevrie.com has tons of other super chic and trendy pieces, I'll list some of my other favorites from their site below! I had to pair the top with my new white tennis skirt which I am never taking off, and my YRU Nightmares, which I think are named after how difficult it is to walk in them in downtown LA (POTHOLES, I'M LOOKING AT YOU). Kept it simple with the accessories by adding this kick ass Holy Bible clutch, a tattoo choker, some fishnet socks, my wide brim hat, and my Jemulet bracelet. Not to mention my gorgeous new watch I received from my boyfriend for Christmas. He gives me real life heart eyes. I love the feminine silhouette of this outfit, you guys know by now that I'm a sucker for any kind of circle skirt. The collar of the top brings innocence and a specific feel to an otherwise sweet and simple look.

I'm also happy to announce that I'll be doing an Instagram giveaway with Fevrie.com! You could win a $50 gift certificate for their site!! Check my Instagram for rules and details! Click here.

DEVIL SLANG

Feelin' myself

How CUTE are these outfits!? I was letting out my inner princess during this super fun shoot. I am absolutely obsessed with every piece of Cherokee Neas' clothing line, Devil Slang. Sweet pastels, classic gingham, and fun, girly prints made me feel like a total doll. I honestly couldn't tell you which piece was my favorite if you asked me. I loved the length of the bunny dresses, and I actually fell in love with the silk two-piece sets. As for the skirts, I've only ever dreamed of a circle skirt as perfect as hers- they fit like a glove and they are so flouncy! I really can not think of a better word, the shape is unbeatable.

I had the pleasure of meeting and shooting with these babes, Cherokee, Arianne, and Avalon. Cherokee is a talented designer, stylist, photographer, and the genius behind this line. Arianne is a gorgeous model who can also be seen all over Tunnel Vision, and Avalon is a goth goddess & DJ making big moves here in LA. All pictures were taken by Phil, a fantastic photographer with a kick ass art collection.
